Making a Living with Herbs as a Way of Life
Culinary artist, Susan Belsinger will tantalize our senses with herbs that have anise-like flavors. Horticultural history enthusiast, Kathleen Connole will share the natural history of the genus, Agastache.
Several herb business owners will demonstrate how they creatively utilize their passion for plants to increase sales and herbal education. Author and agriculturist, Mindy McIntosh-Shetter will be in character as the herbal Outlander. Universal friend, Pat Kenny will give a children’s program utilizing a famous farm song to inspire teachers, volunteers and public program directors.
Conference participants will be immersed in the wild mountains and in the herbal foods and beverages of the region. As always, this conference will be an investment for respite, networking and inspiration. ... See more
