What is my username and password?

Random usernames and passwords have been created for every member. These random usernames and passwords are associated with your email address that you have provided IHA*. Due to the fact that we have many members and emailing out a big list of random usernames and passwords to everyone is not a good idea, we have provided a way for you to log in to the site and gain access to your username and password. In order to access your username and password, follow these steps:

Click the “Member Log In” link

  1. Click on the “Lost Password” link within the page. This is located under the log in form.
  2. Enter your email address into the provided space and click “Reset Password” button
  3. Check your email and follow the steps for resetting the password.
  4. Return to the website and log in using the “Member Log In” link
  5. You can either use your unique user name or email address in combination with the password to sign in.

If you are still experiencing difficulties, use form link to the webmaster.

 

*Note that because this access depends on the email address you have furnished IHA, if your address has changed and IHA does not know this 2 not so nice things happen:

  1. You will no longer receive the newsletter because it is emailed to members based on the email address we have for you
  2. You will not be able to access the members only area of the website

So if we do not have your current email address you are missing 2 important member benefits. If your email address changes please email our treasurer, Marge Powell at wela with the change.  She will then advice our webmaster who will make the internal changes in the website and once again you will get the newsletter and have access to the members only area.

How do I update my Profile on the member directory?

To update your profile, follow these steps:

  • Log into the iherb.org website
  • Locate and click on your name in the member directory
  • Locate and click on the word Edit. It will be below the image on the left hand side.
  • Adjust the Individual information as you see fit and click Save Changes
    • If you wish to adjust the business information, select Business and change the information located there and click Save Changes

How do I change my Avatar (Profile picture)?

To update your profile, follow these steps:

  • Log into the iherb.org website
  • Locate and click on your name in the member directory
  • Locate and click on the words Change Avatar. It will be below the image on the left hand side.
  • Click on the Choose File button to select a .jpg or .gif file from your computer.
  • Once you have chosen your image, click the Upload Image button to save the image to the website
  • Select what portion to crop from your image using the provided frame. A preview of what the image will look like will be on the right.
  • Click Crop Image to save the file. The change will be immediate.

NOTE: Images being used are moderated. Inappropriate images will be removed and the member locked out upon discovery.

How do I remove my Avatar (Profile picture)?

To update your profile, follow these steps:

  • Log into the iherb.org website
  • Locate and click on your name in the member directory
  • Locate and click on the words Change Avatar. It will be below the image on the left hand side.
  • Click Delete Avatar. There is no confirmation. The removal will be instant and the default IHA logo will be shown. Deleting an avatar can not be reversed.

Who has the ability to see what I have in my profile?

By default, anyone visiting the website can see your Name, Address, Business Name, Website, Info, Type of Organization, and Things You Sell. You can change who sees this fields through the Change link located under each field. There are certain fields that can not be changed, and no option will be available under those fields.

The available options are:

  • Only Me ~ Only you can see what is placed in these fields
  • Members ~ Only members to the website who are logged in can see the information you have in these fields
  • Everyone ~ All visitors to the site, including non-members can see what is in these fields.

How private is my information?

The member has full control of who sees what information, save for a few required fields. Your information will not be accessed by anyone outside of the website nor will it be sold to any third party. We take your privacy quite seriously and work hard to protect your information and earn your trust. No one will have access to your email address. We use this for our newsletter only and we will allow you to opt out of the newsletter from the email we send out.

What do I need to do to be unlisted from the website and delete my account?

If you wish to totally remove the account we have created for you, visit the Contact page and send a message to Website Help. Please indicate your Name, Username and E-mail address in the message.
